More D Report post Posted March 15, 2016 I was yelling at the guy with the second pole. It seemed like he could not or would not put it on that rear leg.
4Falls Report post Posted March 15, 2016 Im with MoreD, the "heeler" seemed a bit unsure of this plan. The wildlife officer acted like it was just another day at the office. Cool video. I know that if I had walked up that mountain, saw the lion, and then was handed an aluminum pole and told to hook his feet. I would have been like.... "you want me to do what?" nateNAU Report post Posted March 16, 2016 Cats are real easy to black out with a catch pole. About 10 seconds with the pole cinched down tight and they could have taken that trap off a sleeping cat. I'm really surprised the g&f guy messed around with it awake. Catch point to the back legs or head plus chain length of 5 feet or so is double the distance of those rinky dink catch poles. Very dangerous.
