Hike4coues Report post Posted April 23, 2016 I am still in total awe of those photos! Out of curiosity, Do the bucks show up fairly regularly on your camera, or is it hit and miss? If it gives away too many secrets to reply, no worries! I am just wondering though, if it is possible to patter a certain buck, or group of bucks, and on average how often I could expect a buck to get his picture taken? Maybe there are no rules? Thanks again for posting!!!!!!
GreyGhost85 Report post Posted April 23, 2016 The bigger and older they get, the less they show up. It's pretty random. Some bucks come in almost daily, and have been for years. The bigger buck in pictures 2 and 5, i have been watching for 4 years now. I think he's 7-8 years old this year. He used to be the most frequently photographed buck and now i might get 2-3 pictures of him each season is all. To answer your question, immature bucks are much more "patternable" than mature bucks
