levers Report post Posted March 14, 2016 This is a 9422 in 22 mag in good condition. I'd call it a shooter grade gun and not a collector's item. .270 Report post Posted March 14, 2016 Didn't take long. One of the slickest rifles ever made. When they first advertised them in late '71 my dad went to Talley and sons and ordered one in .22 mag. He got the 2nd one in the gila valley. Irvin kept the first one. He shot that thing a bunch. It rode around in his pickup with the barrel on the transmission hump so much the muzzle of the barrel is worn off at an angle. My son has it now. I have one of the really early ones too.
