Cashier: "Who are we lowering the flag for?" My immediate Manager: "Nancy Reagan, she passed away this week." Cashier (with dead seriousness in her voice): "Who is that? A former employee?" Let me give you a little tip on dealing with them: just smile, give them the southern slam, "ohhhhhh, god bless your heart!", and than whisper a silent prayer to thank god for people like that. Think about it, when you finish your degree and start competing for jobs do you want to run against a hundred smart, hard-working well informed people?
