MULEPACKHUNTER Report post Posted March 9, 2016 Braved the wind tonight and made a few sets on stripers. We have enough for dinner tomorrow but it was super slow. This was a farewell send off trip for my best friend who ships off to location unknown on Thursday. Whiskey and mules tomorrow and he should be primed for his little business trip.
Flatlander79 Report post Posted March 9, 2016 Pleasant? How was the bite? Lures or anchovies? Hopefully I'll get out there for summer nights

MULEPACKHUNTER Report post Posted March 9, 2016 Ya pleasant , anchovies, water is cold and particulates were high, all we did late summer was off completely. Found some in trees at about 35 ft. Never had any shad or bait around the light which is unusual.
rcdinaz Report post Posted March 9, 2016 Good try! Kind of sucks you got hit with the weather change so all the fish are probably hunkering down. If it gets warmer next week may be good with the full moon.
Flatlander79 Report post Posted March 10, 2016 I'm no expert but I've found it best to wait for a couple 100 degree days to get a decent anchovie bite at night
