Ted Cruz wants feds to dump all puclic land

Recommended Posts

He wants to use Texas as the model. Yikes. I'm undecided who I'll vote for in 2016, but since I enjoy hunting public land I do know it won't be Ted Cruz.

What if it was transferred with to states with the stipulation (by law) that it cannot be sold or privatized, only managed at the state level? Then WE could decide if we want wolves, mines, logging, spotted owls, etc. and not some Birkenstock wearing, granola muncher in DC.

Just a thought.

The chances of all the federal land being sold off is much more remote than the chance of Hillary flipping the Supreme Court to liberal and taking our guns.

Frankly, I am not sure what type of judge Trump would nominate either. He might like some guy that love eminent domain, where the Govt just grabs land as they wish.

Now....for all of you in the Trump Trance, don't get wadded up. I will vote for him, but as with all candidates, none is perfect.

Selling all the public lands is asinine and would ruin the west. Reorganize, sure, lets talk about it. Make it all private? scary. He would have an impossible amount of push back from Dems and half the republicans, so I don't see that type of initiative ever being successful. Despite that bad idea, I think Cruz is the best remaining candidate.

Honest question for you Trump supporters. What do you like about him?

My concern with Trump is that we have no idea what we're getting. He has a very long history of supporting liberals and liberal ideas. Now he's suddenly running of the republican nomination and when asked about his past liberalism, just says I've changed. That makes me nervous. Don't get me wrong, if he wins the nomination he's got my vote, but I just don't trust his conservative (or lack there of) background.

I like 2 things about him: 1. Hes not a politician (and rarely politically correct, for that matter). 2. Hes a successful entrepreneur and self made billionaire.

This guys knows how to raid, gut, rebuild and turn around a corporation. All a country really is is a giant business. Who do you want running the biggest business in the world?

I think trump may be the biggest bastid ever to walk the face of the earth, but hes still the most qualified candidate for the job.

And as a disclaimer, I pay more in taxes then a lot of people earn, so yes im biased and I want some one who will stand for small business and the middle and upper class instead of constantly pandering to a bunch of never-do-wells and screwing me out of what I worked for.

A President should never be completely one sided. Trump is able to deal with people on both sides of the spectrum and that is a good thing. You get Cruz or Rubio in there and there goes another 4 years of getting nothing done. Someone who can help get rid of the two party BS in our government is a dang good start. Go Trump
