Heat Report post Posted March 11, 2016 What difference does it make if it was on a Rez? I could care less about where it was killed as long as it was fair chase. Records are more about the animal than the hunter anyway, which is why they allow pickups and deadheads in the books. Congrats to Terry!

BOHNTR Report post Posted March 15, 2016 What a beautiful Coues buck, congratulations to the hunter. I can't wait to see/measure it at the P&Y panel in St. Loius (2017)......I hope the measurements hold true, as world records are exciting but extremely rare (beyond popular belief). actually they let deadhead pickups into the awards book but not the all time book. Pickups (deadheads) are allowed in the all-time B&C Records Program as well.

GreyGhost85 Report post Posted March 15, 2016 I think B&C's thinking is it's more about honoring the animal, not the hunter. Probably why they allow dead heads in the book

wildwoody Report post Posted March 15, 2016 If they do it more for the animals then the hunter, then why do deduction that takes away from the animal, your answers don't make sense . Well anyway keep your res deer, old round eye will find his own..

GreyGhost85 Report post Posted March 15, 2016 woody, if someone told you the sky was blue you would argue. the Rez is not a mythical place where all animals grow to gigantic proportions.
