5nRamirez Report post Posted February 25, 2016 Well I ended up punching my tag allot earlier than expected.I hit it hard all trew the opener with allot of close calls missed a small buck in Dec just trying to fill my 2015 tag..Well it all came togeather one morning as I was glassing a couple groups of does threeought the adjacent draws I heard some horns bashing and sure enough I caught eye of the buck I shot fighting another OLD 1 horn warrior buck I knew was in the general area. I had seen him almost daily since the opener back in Dec. And he has always been broken anyways after that theirs not much of a story other than bedding them then making a big wide loop to get in position then waiting 3+ hours for them to get up and move..Well everything lined up and I was able to put a Great hit on him he only went 20 yards and pulled up in the bottom of the canyon.this is my biggest archery buck to date.. 10 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites

5nRamirez Report post Posted February 26, 2016 Thanks for the replays guys unfortunately that one horn buck was shot the very next day by another hunter..He was an awesome deer that's for sure I had allot of history with him I put a very bad shot on him in January 2015 luckily he survived but this year he was not so lucky.at least I got to chase him a few years and get some excellent photos. 2 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
