Any suggestions???

Recommended Posts

I have the Swaro's 10 x 42 SLC's. I had the swaro adapter for them, but didn't like it at all. It would always get stuck, and when I would get excited to look at a deer or something it would be stuck and I would have to pull my knife out to open them. Anyway, the adapter fell off my tripod in the bushes somewhere. I lost it, and now am looking for suggestions on something else that may be better to use as an adapter from my bino's to tripod. Thanks guys!!!

Of course I have a suggestion! Buy the one that Jim White makes and that I sell in the CouesWhitetail.com store! It's great, very small and lightweight. It is also less expensive and you can leave it on all the time. The post simply slides into the receiveer when you are ready to put it on the tripod.

Hopefully some other folks who use this adapter will chime in about how they like it.

Everyone has heard my rant before.... so ya'll know that this is Not an advertising plug. <_< I think that the adapater that the Outdoorsman sells with their pistol grip head is the best adapter for the Swaros I have seen yet.... you can leave it on all the time because it is much lighter and smaller. I hated the adapter that you had and have been very happy with this one since I spent my life's savings on it. ;) It is a great product. Good luck and Good hunting. :D

I havent used the Outdoorsmans but do use Jim White's and love it. I got tired of Swarovski's adapter. Jims adapter holds the bino's much more firm to the adapter/tripod. I just looked up a picture of the Outdoorsmans and it looks real similar to Jims. Either way you go, it will be a step up from Swarovski's. I still have two Swarovski adapters and just dont use them after using Jim White's.........Allen Taylor..........
