Flagstaff is up over a foot of snow than the usual amount. CA mountain snow packs are expected to be at 150% by the end of next month. Meanwhile, Phx is down 1/4" of precip.

Let's hope for more rain as we head into the driest months.

Last Monday, in Cave Creek. Needless to say, climbing the tower sucked.

What business are you in? Need an apprentice?

I've often contemplated climbing towers to do repairs as an occupation- Wind, telecom, etc...

I am in the telecom business. All public safety & government work. No carrier (cell companies) work.

I am not needing an apprentice right now, but if you have any experience in construction, there are always job openings somewhere. Most people in this business need to be able to travel though, one of the necessary evils of the job. I know thereare a few others on here in the trade too.

And they said this will be a wet winter! Just one big storm and that was it. We usually have at least one big winter storm.

Ah man Mocha now I'm gonna be thinking about those dang snakes while out looking for pigs! Looks like I might have to stay in camp and drink some cold ones to try and avoid those snakes! B)

Speaking of warmer weather. Has anyone crossed Tonto creek at Punkin Center recently? With the snow melting, I'm wondering how the flow is. It was flowing pretty good a couple weeks ago.

Got some final pig scouting tomorrow and don't want to waste my time if I can't cross.

With ease. No problems.
