Pac8541 Report post Posted February 10, 2016 Ordered mid-December, just arrived last Thurs while I was sweating out the flu. Freaking gorgeous. And of course, when I got to pick it up I notice Tight Spot now has a Vias quiver....

Pac8541 Report post Posted February 10, 2016 Energy 35, 70lbs, 27.5DL. Haven't weighed it yet and wasn't going to, but I can if you need that info. Its lighter than the '06 BT Allegiance its replacing, probably by about half a pound. And it was pushing a 488gr arrow this afternoon 252fps.
CWpredator Report post Posted February 10, 2016 Good looking setup. Will you kill anything with it, or are you one of those guys that gets the latest and greatest every year and sells it without a blood stain??? Haha just kidding and good luck but for real?
Pac8541 Report post Posted February 10, 2016 This is the first bow I've bought in the last 10 yrs. Its a tool for killing dinner. That's how its going to be used.
CWpredator Report post Posted February 10, 2016 That's a nice change of pace Pac... it wasn't personal just a time of year thing. Elk and antelope season seems to draw the latest and greatest band wagon riders out of the word works... Get people in every day asking for "elk bows" and "elk arrows" haha I try and advise against and get people into what's comfortable and stick with it. Beautiful setup you have regardless and congratulations
Pac8541 Report post Posted February 10, 2016 Its also a much better draw and hold for my wrecked shoulders, the left of which undergoes partial joint replacement surgery in 2 months. This was the primary reason for buying it, even if the Ally isn't anywhere close to harsh itself. But these really are that much better.
