Flatlander Report post Posted February 4, 2016 Just noticed while doing my app that they cut the 19a archery lope hunt from 2 weeks to 1 week. That ought to put a dent in the success rate. Guess I am looking elsewhere, 3bn is sounding better all the time.

longshooter Report post Posted February 4, 2016 I'd hunt 2 weeks if I drew a 19a lope tag. I applied for this hunt too and didn't notice that change either.

jim Report post Posted February 4, 2016 At the Kingman meeting Erin said that the hunt results show that most of the hunters kill within the first weekend anyway and don't feel it will hurt the result. It was done to appease ranchers and other residents complaining about the hunters around the ranch's and houses.

G&F has been appeasing alot of ranchers and anti hunting out of state imigrant homeowners in the prescott area lately. Such as the quarter mile rule for archery hunters after someone shot a granola eaters "pet deer".

Anyone else find it bs the game and fish are against the ones who pay their salaries while bending over for the ones that are against hunting and fishing who can have a negative effect on their lively hoods?
