Jazz Report post Posted February 2, 2016 So later this month the Javelina general hunt is happening. in 18B, there's a full albino javelina running with a mixed herd of javelina/wild boar. I know, weird. But it's true. It's been awhile since I've seen them. If you happen to see/harvest this guy, share a pic?
AZHUNTER05 Report post Posted February 2, 2016 Why would you put that information on a public forum with the specific unit?

I know, weird. But it's true. It's been awhile since I've seen them. If you happen to see/harvest this guy, share a pic? I remember a post here of a white/albino javelina that was taken. I believe it was in Mexico. Very cool looking!

naturebob Report post Posted February 2, 2016 Some folks like to share info on forums with other hunters . Nothin wrong with posting something like that unless You no where it lives and want to harvest it. But it is public land..................BOB!

lancetkenyon Report post Posted February 3, 2016 18B is a big unit. I can narrow it down by saying it was near the prickly pears....
Basser15 Report post Posted February 3, 2016 If I remember correctly it was Jim Mullins that killed the albino (or at least white colored) javelina several years ago in Mexico. I've never seen an albino but I did run across a herd down south last year that had several piebald colored pigs in it. Always fun seeing something different from the ordinary out in the field.
