buckhungry Report post Posted August 24, 2004 Hi guys, I was drawn for 35A (short hunt). I took a 3x2 from there two years ago in Scotia Canyon. I tend to be a creature of habit and will be back there again, but I would appreciate any advice on some other spots that could prove beneficial. Thanks. azcoueshunter Report post Posted August 26, 2004 I've been on successful gun hunts in Carr, Ash, and Miller Canyons on the east side of the Huachucas. I've been on unsuccessful archery hunts, but have always seen lots of deer, in Hunter and Ramsey Canyon (watch the private land in Ramsey though.) also in the Huachucas. Shoot the first decent buck you can on the early hunt in this unit!
Chef Report post Posted August 28, 2004 Let me get my maps together. I've hunted there several times for Coues and Javelina. I also helped out a NR hunter last year which tagged along with his buddy. Give me a few days and I'll post later. Regards, Chef
