I was pretty happy he wanted to load 40 .270 wsm. I wish someone would have taught me at 14 years old.

Ugh i agree, i just spend all day prepping 120 7mm cases, by the time I got 20 rounds loaded i was exhausted lol

My 3 year old loves to help me i only let him press bullets in my step son is awesome at cleaning primer pockets

I had to teach myself when I was about that age. If I didn't it ment I didn't get to shoot as often.

My three year old loves seating the bullets on my press as well.

My 12 yr old son likes to seat the bullets as well.

He knows the process and steps too but searing bullets is his thing. Lol

For some reason he hates trimming....I wonder why?

That's ok I'd rather do that step anyhow.

Got them done with minimal supervision, he is more technical than me. Thats a good thing.

OMG, I've got to learn to reload...... I don't know what any of that stuff is that you guys are talking about!

 

There seems to be many brands out there? Which one rules? Could someone recommend a great book on reloading?

I am only using 9mm, 45, .270 and .223, so far.

What bullets and powder are you using? I try to use the books for the components I am using as a starting point. Berger, Hodgdon, Nosler, Hornady, Sierra....they all have their own data. But they are all just a starting point for reference, not gospel. You need to work up your own loads, as only your gun can tell you it's limits.
