Nice, I have been using this tripod for many years and it's great! I have an outdoorsmans panhead mounted on it now but this head is good too! I sold my outdoorsmans tall tripod and went back to the 330 years ago.

I agree this 330 with the head is tough to beat, I'm 6' and it might be a tad short for standing up but I still make it work. Plus 95% of my glassing is sitting, down. The outdoorsmans set up is great, I just can't justify thier price for the difference compared to this one. Good to know you like it twigsnapper

I agree this is the best bang for the buck! I used the head on this one for a year then upgraded to a manfrotto fluid head. Cant beat the combo for less than $200

Thanks for the tip on this deal, Vowell!! I had actually been planning on picking-up a new tripod/head, mainly for my kids to use while hunting with me, but I didn't want to drop too much money.

 

As a heads-up to anyone who wants to take advantage of this deal, I went into Amazon last night to check it out and the price had already gone up a bit. (They typically modify their pricing based on timing and demand....) Since I saw the price had gone-up, I took a chance and went right to the website for Adorama Camera (the seller listed on your deal). Just returned from a father/daughter ski trip over the long weekend, and the tripod I ordered was waiting for me when I got home. I'm VERY pleased with it! My primary tripod is a Velbon that I like very much. My expectations were far exceeded on this Slik!
