singleshot Report post Posted January 10, 2016 Mature mule deer buck exit wound at 63 yards. Broke 1 rib in and two out. Javelina, 40 yards took out both shoulders. Entrance Exit 125 Grain Swhacker Broadhead. Taken four big game animals with them. Ferrules bent on every one. Blades bent on a couple of them but have never broken. Doesn't really bother me that they have been unusable after a harvest as long as they have done the job. Fly really good as far as I care to shoot. Every animal I have ever shot with them has been recovered. I have been at this for awhile and have taken over 30 head of big game in Arizona with a bow. Not bragging but I have shot a lot of different broad heads. In the end shot placement is the key, but for the last few years I have been shooting the Swhacker 125, I like it, I have confidence in it, the terminal performance has been outstanding, and right now I don't have any thoughts of changing. Even on elk.
mattys281 Report post Posted January 10, 2016 Singleshot: That as a pretty incredible testimonial. Those wounds are awesome! I never thought to take pics of the wounds, but I'll definetely pay closer attention on the next one. The last three deer I've killed have all been with the g5 t3 expandable heads and they blow through deer like theyred made out of paper at 40 yards and less. All my heads have been intact and useable again, just needed to change blades.
firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted January 10, 2016 This is the only picture I have, this is an entrance hole (flat out hole from the head) from a slick trick magnum at 55 yards.

singleshot Report post Posted January 11, 2016 Big Bull elk, 33 yards. Through the top of the shoulders and severed the spine. 100 grain glue on Muzzy for a 16/ 64 shaft. Shot these for quite a few years before they went obsolete. Outstanding flight, and they held together well on impact. Killed a mule deer and a javelina on the same day with the same broad head once. Quite a few others. Shot them on a 16/64 Beman shaft. They were the real deal.
WampusCat Report post Posted January 11, 2016 100 gr RamCat. The large pumper is from a brute of a Kansas whitetail. Busted a rib on the way out. One of the blades was slightly bent but easily replaceable. These are my go to head after flight testing them. I love expandables but it is hard to beat the reliability and durability of fixed blade head.

BOWUNTR Report post Posted January 15, 2016 Whitetail deer with a Muzzy MX3... no tracking involved.... It's all about shot placement, not how big the hole is. Ed F
creed_az_88 Report post Posted January 15, 2016 Bhuntn Shockwaves are legit. Best bang for your buck in my opinion. I've had some blades bend but never break on em. Dependable.
