rageinthesage Report post Posted January 19, 2016 Your buck may or may not be offspring to this buck, they only lived a few miles apart from each other. I picked up my buck in the spring of '04 which would put your deer 10+ of age. Same pile of beans anyway. Huge congrats. I've looked for sheds off my buck ever since.

tjhunt2 Report post Posted January 19, 2016 That had to be extremely exciting to find, not one, but both sides. Congratulations on your buck. TJ
Troy Report post Posted January 19, 2016 Thanks everyone, the 2013 set was about 4-500 yards from where I killed him, and the2014 set was about a mile away from the other sets. 2013 set was about 60 yards apart and the 2014 were touching.

Chris Report post Posted February 7, 2016 Troy, Just curious, did you find the deer scouting, or shed first? and 2) Did you drop everything to focus on him? I guess keeping him a secret would be tough. Did others know about him? It's a great story, I'm sure!
Troy Report post Posted February 8, 2016 Found the deer first, killed him and then found the sets of sheds, to my knowledge no ones else knew of this deer.
