rossislider Report post Posted December 29, 2015 I want to give Mark and his staff down at Healy Arms a shout out for some amazing service. I've been looking around for a 5.5" Ruger Redhawk for about a year. In that time I hadn't seen one in any shops. Each time I inquired in a shop, I was told that they hadn't seen one in a long time and they had no idea if and when they would get one. I decided to shoot Mark a message through this forum to see if or when he might get one. He told me they didn't have any, but he would be happy to inquire and let me know. My assumption was that at some point 6 months or so down the road I might get a hear back from him. What I didn't know was he had his team jump on it immediately. A couple of days later he called and let me know that I was under no obligation, but that he had found one for me. This was right after Thanksgiving. Reluctantly I decided that with all of the expenses of the holidays, and my whole family still to shop for, it would be selfish of me to spend that kind of money on myself. Just a few minutes later my wife called me at work. I mentioned that Redhawk (she knew I had been looking) but told her that the timing was bad, we shouldn't spend that kind of money right now, and so I told Mark to pass. Apparently the second we got off the phone she called Mark and he helped her work out a great birthday (it was yesterday) surprise for me. Yes, I have and amazing wife who I don't deserve. If you are looking for a firearm and want awesome service and knowledge that you likely can't get from the big guys, be sure to give Mark and his team a call!
.270 Report post Posted December 30, 2015 They were the only guys I could find that were even interested in getting me some 10 gauge ammo. They were glad to do it. Lark
