rancilio Report post Posted December 25, 2015 We live in a pretty neat place and are able to watch quite a bit of wildlife nearly every day. Today I saw the first sign of the boys showing interest in the girls. A coues spike wouldn't let a little doe alone. I watched him chase her for about 10min until they both disappeared. knothead Report post Posted December 25, 2015 I hunted Saturday to Wednesday and witnessed one 70" buck chasing a doe Monday evening. He had his head down, twitching his tail and chasing her pretty aggressively but she wanted nothing to do with him. Also saw a little forky rubbing horns and doing the lip curl with head up thing. Other than that, every buck I saw was alone and does were just hanging out with their young ones. Heading back down tomorrow morning and will stay till Monday night.
