CJ Long range Report post Posted December 12, 2015 I like American Eagle. So does my ar. You can usually find a good deal on cheaper than dirt. Just my 2 cents
lancetkenyon Report post Posted December 13, 2015 Most military ammo sucks for accuracy. Depending on your expectations, I would go for a cheaper varmint type loading. Black Hills is good too, but not cheap.
Zeke-BE Report post Posted December 13, 2015 If you want to shoot and just plink I like PMC brass . Stay away from steel casing. Even if you gun does great with them it's a matter of when it jams. One jammed in my colt 6940 which is supposed to feed them pretty good and I had to us a cleaning rod and hammer and knock it out.
AverageJoe Report post Posted December 13, 2015 If you can find it...look for ADI ammo. It is miitary ball ammo and will hold 1moa. They also make some match ammo but not in bulk. Most military ammo is 3moa this australian ammo is much better.
azpredator@work Report post Posted December 13, 2015 Thanks a lot guys. This gets me started. Expectations so far with this rifle is to allow my son to shoot the crap out of it while shooting our deer hunting rifles. He likes to pull the trigger and high end 300wm ammo is not cheap...
