Back yard bucks

Two bucks and probably 8-10 doe in the yard yesterday morning. The bigger of the two seemed to be rutting. As the picture shows he was workin on gettin a good sniff of that doe. His neck was swolen real good too. The smaller one was about 40 yards behind with his own group of doe (or the doe that the bigger one gave him lol)

Hard to see but the bigger one was a 4x5 from what I could tell, really tall rack but didn't seem to have much mass, guessing 24-26" spread but not sure.

That's great having them there. Explains the deep pit you keep hidden out back.

 

I've seen javelina and burros out here but since the adjoining land went from Peoria to State Trust, seeing deer sign out back again.

the deep pit is for trespassers and coyotes, next time I see him out I'll tell him.
