Repair a fence you just cut? We all know a good percentage of yahoos can't even be bothered to close a gate.

I leave gates as I find them. Never cut a fence but have taken the ties off about five post, stood on it so it could be driven over in the center and then retied. The rancher kept wondering how we got around his locked gate and stayed on FS so as to not trespass. Funny thing was next year there were two gates bypassing his land so he couldn't lock off the FS road anymore. :o

Used to be a young guy that "patrolled his ranch" armed with pistol south of carefree hwy.. When i say his ranch i mean all state land legal to hunt (now it has changed) He confronted me 1 day with his hand on pistol telling me i was on orivate property---ffwd he made sure not to confront me anymore. WARNING remember even if we are legal it doesnt mean they are sane! Some of these people believe since they have been their longer they can do what they want. Cutting a fence might just push a guy like "edge" over the edge and ya might catch a bullet. Sorry edge had to use ya for example of crazy cowboy rancher. :)

disclaimer:i dont know edge or what he is capable of. ;)

My family ranches. It is not lawful to cut any fence. What people don't realize is that when you cut and repair the area it may look good but is not. The first freeze and low temps that come through there will cause that cut area you made to break as it is not as strong as it was. Don't cut fences. Ranchers have a hard enough time as it is.

We own a farm and a ranch by know means am I looking to cut a fence. Somebody had mentioned it to me and said they thought someone can do it on my property. My theory is church is a good way to get to heaven but cutting my fence will get you there faster. I was seeing if the rules were written any where.

Thanks

Pete
