20c first deer hunt success

Recommended Posts

After some hard hunting and missing a 3x3 opening morning my son shot this guy at 230 yds with his 6mm. Very blessed to have been there beside him on the glasses and very blessed I have a wife that loves the out doors also. Very proud dad. Good luck to all out there still plugging away. We will be bk up this weekend trying to get his lil friend a deer. Thanks for reading.

Nicely done, looks like my first deer. Good job bringing home the steaks, young man.

Not an easy hunt this year. Congrats. Amazing that the money whores gave a week break between the first and second general hunt and then open up the juniors the following day after a week long general hunt has scared the living heck out of everything. I walked many a mile this weekend chasing the big boys and glassing for hours to no avail. With 800 tags before the juniors there are slim pickings right now. Kudos to Game and Fish for completely ruining a once good unit. Congrats again to your boy.

Big thanks to Creed for the deal on the gun. We're out here again trying to get it done for his lil friend. We decided to camp up here and do a outdoors family thanksgiving so could get a chance to hunt he is a first timer also.
