wendt Report post Posted November 30, 2015 I'm looking for any bull at this point need to fill the freezer for the next year. 4 cow elk today. We too are hiking our butts off. I have not seen another hunter in 3 days of hiking. Not enough pressure to get the elk moving.
kennyt Report post Posted November 30, 2015 Try the NE side of sitgraves. Take the j road south of the cinder pit and hike to the edge of the burn.

Str8Shot Report post Posted November 30, 2015 Nothing here yet. Hiking our butts off. Seen cows, no shooters bulls. After seeing 18 big 6x6s, including the bull I have on video from a few months ago, on Thanksgiving Day, they all went underground. What did you do for Thanksgiving dinner at camp, cook up a bunch of venison ? You know they can smell their own cooking, right ? Good Luck getting it done

wendt Report post Posted December 2, 2015 Not yet. Finally saw 2 cow elk today. Maybe a bull tomorrow. A lot of hunters have gone home so maybe the elk will come out of hiding?
