Yes they are single shots and can be pricy but you can change the butt to fit as they grow and always add different barrels for different cartridges. I think CVA might have a similar platform. Best thing I did for my girls who couldn't make up their mind lefty or righty. It also helps with accuracy as they learned they only have one shot so they needed to make it count.
