Anyone else hunting Crane this weekend? I am going with my dad and a friend and this will be our first time to hunt Sandhill Crane. I am really looking forward to it. Hopefully its a fun trip and becomes an annual tradition.

Filet off the outer fascia of the breast. Then split it down the middle to make two thin steaks. Salt and pepper and a little tony chacheres. Grill med rare and slice thin across the grain. Serve with a little horseradish. Awesome! The thighs are awesome but need to be roasted. The Gizzard is the best fries gizzard you'll ever have! Nothing not to love about cranes!!

Prime Rib of the sky. Cook it any way you want just don't overcook it.

Got a hunt starting 11/17. Cold weather up north should be moving more birds into AZ. Will be hunting a new area this year, hope we get some birds to decoy.
