You can join a shooting club and get on the 1000 yd range at Ben Avery but schedules are limited and the distance is not always what you want. We just find a spot out in the sticks. We have one that requires quads to get to it and its 1900 clear view but not giving it since only we go there and my buddies would kill me. Whitesheep Report post Posted November 26, 2015 Thanks Lance. My son and I used to paint ball there, but I forgot they have a 1000 yard range. $35 for a day isn't bad at all. I'll give them a call and see how you arrange time. Mulepack, The desert is always a good option, but mine is pain to get around in. My 500 yard range requires backpacking the target and gong over two drainages, but it can be done. Another area I know of provides about 700 yards of range, but it requires an overnight trip from Phoenix to be practical.
