huntech Report post Posted July 12, 2007 Hello everyone. I am new to this site and was hoping someone could answer a question. I have been loading 52 and 55 grain bullets for my 223 wssm. I went to a 69 grain hornady bullet but every time I seat the bullet i get a ring about 1/8 of an inch from the top of the bullet. I have tired adjusting the die from one extreme to another with with no sucess. should i change dies I am using standard full length RCBS dies now. any info would be greatly apperciated. Daniel Its probably just where the bullet seating die is touching the bullet when it is being seated. Seems like my 55gr vmax does this a little in my 223wssm. If you have any other wssm specifis problems I would try at wssmzone.com. Lots of good info for these cartridges.
