6ANut Report post Posted November 9, 2015 I suck at deer hunting, I have spent months in the field in many different states, units and never can seal the deal or sometimes even see a buck. So my motto when it comes to deer hunting is shoot the first thing I see, that is bigger than the only deer I have shot. So anything bigger than a spike was going to be hunted. The first two days we all chased deer around 6A. On the third day my uncle wanted to hunt around the 700rd towards Kachina Village on the way to the 700rd road we ran into this lil guy and one shot sealed the deal. Saw a few really nice bucks and too many elk to count. The bulls were on fire every am and pm and as a group we probably saw 20 plus bulls over 320 inches, most of which were not broken up. Cant wait to help my father in law on his late rifle bull hunt. Ran into a nice mtn lion kill and also found a memorial for two gentlemen down near cedar flats. If anyone has any back story on these two guys love to hear more about them.
