HUNTnTAT2 Report post Posted November 5, 2015 This was my very first time targeting coues deer. In a unit with 10% success rate. I worked my tail off for seven days trying to locate bucks. with a muzzy hunt the week prior I knew bucks were gunna be pushed further than the average Joe wanted to go. So I went there. I was seeing lots of coues does and knew a buck would show himself if I kept persistent. This was only the second buck I had seen in seven days and the last day I could hunt. I'm beyond proud of this buck and all the hard work it takes to put one down. and for another year I got to experience it all with my grandfather by my side. Ive been bitten by the coues bug!

trphyhntr Report post Posted November 5, 2015 Congrats. Admiring your skills to put horns on that guy. I made my friend pass on 3 spikes because I couldn't tell for sure if they had horns. They all did and he went home empty handed. Nice job
