Fire south of Kitt Peak

Recommended Posts

From looking at some of the pics, the fire may not have been sterilizing intense, and it could green up when the monsoons arrive. The fire on the rez side may have also pushed a lot of deer over into 36.

they really werent doing much to stop the burn just maintaining it. kinda like a perscribed burn. they needed to get rid of some of that brush up that way anyway since the inviro's wont let them clear just mother nature taking over

I have backpacked into those exact canyons to hunt in the past several years. The brush is intense up there! Good deal to get some fire IMO....

Thanks for sharing Doug!
