Shooter McGavin Report post Posted October 29, 2015 Yesterday I was fortunate enough to fill my WT deer tag in unit 33, this deer as well as both my children's deer were taken out of the same canyon. I shot this deer at 4:45 and didn't get back to my truck until 8:00. Nothing like walking in the dark through waist high grass, hidden shin daggers and tons of catclaw through deep canyons, needless to say I'm done hunting these grey ghosts until next year. Now I'm going to focus on quail, a little shoulder recoil therapy. I shot this guy at 440 yds. My daughters deer, shot at 254 yds, shot Oct 9th My sons deer, shot at 161 yds, shot Oct 11th And my cow elk, shot at 217 yds, Oct 19th All shot with the same Kimber 270wsm with 150 gr silver tip ammo. 4 Share this post Link to post Share on other sites
