Guest akaspecials Report post Posted October 28, 2015 On the rim I've watched elk herds that travel about 3-4 miles each day from thier water holes to thier beds. As for deer I've had coues and mulies 3 or 4 miles from the nearest water. The deer have never seemed as habitual as the elk.
