cactusjack Report post Posted October 25, 2015 I posted a picture of Abigail the huntress princess and the deer she shot. As awesome as that was, it was far from being the highlight of this past weekend. I was ableto hunt with my oldest 4 kids. We hiked, glassed, hiked and glassed. Saturday evening my 12yo daughter missed a good forkie at 200 yards. The adrenaline was pumping. She was jacked and sent it about 2 inches over its back. Exciting stuff. I invested in optics and tripods. We were all glassing and finding deer. The kids would get all excited when they would be the one to locate deer. No boredom complaints. The best part of the entire hunt was watching them work together and get excited for each other, and help each other when one struggled. We had allergies, migraines, bug bites and sun burns, yet the best time I've ever had. I can't wait for spring javelina.
