spqhunt Report post Posted October 24, 2015 Out doing some calling in the huachucas this morning, hoping for that lottery ticket lion, first time out calling. And was bombarded with grey fox, 8 individuals within ten minutes of starting the caller. Trail I was hunting looked like an alley of stray cats. My question is, what shot size is best for preserving their hide? Or do I need to find a 410 somewhere with 7 1/2 shot for minimal damage? Want a nice mount but don't want to drop the cash on a new gun, or wouldn't be able to afford the mount, such a quandary.
