CouesPursuit Report post Posted October 23, 2015 Sorry for the pun, kazpilot25. Hope you shoot your monster! My brother and great buddy just put a hurtin on a couple spikes. Both first timers. We watched a group of bigger bucks spar with each other 30 minutes into shooting light, and as we relocated to close in, we came across 2 spikes at 128 yards. Bang bang. Back at camp celebrating with a cold Bud in hand. I'm proud of these guys as they practiced relentlessly and were prepared for the long shot, but thankfully they didn't need it. Gutless method got the heat out of the bucks quick, now they're boned out in coolers and we have 2 life-long hunters.
