SirRoyal Report post Posted October 25, 2015 Cosninocanines is right . Something will come loose on the chains or something will break. The chains on the front tires are all you really need. Clearance on turning left and right is the most important The front chains can and will cause more damage to your truck if they break!
cosninocanines Report post Posted October 25, 2015 I may only be able to afford 1 set. Anybody got a hook up? My tires are 35x12.5x18. Finding some online for about $100/pair not including tax and shipping which is $65 more. Make some phone calls to high country auto parts. Stay away from cable chains get the real deal. These are all in Flagstaff NAPA 928-774-2733 Coconino Auto 928-774-5047 Tractor Supply 928-774-3622 Cal Ranch 928-526-4300
Hoss50 Report post Posted October 25, 2015 No cables. Get real chains. Cables are for cars or going fast. Real chains are for full out traction.
KaibabHunter Report post Posted October 28, 2015 So I ordered through etrailer. Can only get 1 set but I went a little heavier duty plus an additional tensioner for $166 with free shipping. RCD...I went with the TC3831CAM FYI since we have the same tires. Thanks for all the advice! Ryan

rcdinaz Report post Posted November 2, 2015 KaibabHunter, did they tell you needed the adjusters or are they good to go without them? I am asking for future reference when I bite the bullet and buy a set. Thanks!
