How many times do you see this??

Recommended Posts

These are from 22N. Thought it was unusual that there was even an antelope there and really unusual that he is hangin with a little Coues buck.

I got pictures of the same two on two different days so I dont think it was just a fluke to get them in the same frame.

Kind of an unusual bachelor herd, but I guess if it works....

Rev. Jackson would be real proud of the way these guys don't let race (or species for that matter) impede their friendship.

I wonder if his mother and father approve of his relationship? It's obvious they're runnin' together......I bet his friends laughed at him and poked fun 'cause his girlfriends' a freak! Thats wild! JIM>

That is really neat and unusual. The closest unit that has antelope will be the bordering units of 21 and 4a

Another odd thing is that Antelope usually do not move at night.

It's definetely a buck. Look at the lower right hand corner of the second pic & you get a close up of his buttons.

Probably just two young animals herding up, or perhaps he's the youngin & she adopted him for some reason or another. Probably will split once the "urge" takes hold of that antelope this August.

This is way cool from a biology/ecology standpoint. I don't want to know the exact location, but are there any grasslands or even juniper pinyon woodland nearby. There are antelope in 21n, 6a, 5a, and 4a. These units all have good grasslands or at least extensive j/p woodland with open park like areas. This is one of the coolest pictures I've ever seen. Wonder what the kids would look like?
