I've been running a G2 Pointman for a few years now. Great pack. I've yet to find it's breaking point, but it has found mine! Had 80lbs of elk in it a couple of weeks ago. The pack took it like a champ but it was not comfortable. It will do 60 lbs all day long comfortably though. I was entering into the weight range for needing a pack frame.

I've actually been thinking of selling it and getting a Kifaru Duplex or Bikini frame setup. Still on the fence though. I really like this pack.

I run a duplex with a mountain rambler, and also have a DT3. I love the way it fits. Super comfortable pack, even under extreme weight. Buy With confidence. Any questions call Aaron @ Kifaru. He is very informative and will not blow smoke up your arse. PM if you need his cell #.

I have owned 3 different Kifaru packs. Currently own two, a Late Season which is the same as the Pointman mentioned above except a hunting version instead of Military. Use it for prettymuch everything but is really good as a daypack that can carry meat to the truck or camp. I used mine to carry the bone in quarters plus backstraps and tenderloins from a Kaibab doe just recently. Solid! I also have a Duplex frame that I use with a Cargo Panel for heavy and awkward loads. Buy once, cry once! Get a Kifaru.

I have a couple of the packs, a 6-man tipi and a medium stove and the gun bearer. Hands down great gear. I have had lots of weight in my kifaru packs and the weight rides like a dream. As another poster stated, the gun bearer is an AMAZING piece of kit and priceless when hiking in steep, difficult terrain.
