sherman Report post Posted October 11, 2015 My 22-250 loves varget thank God a member sold me 3 lbs for $25 a pound about a year ago
MT_Sourdough Report post Posted October 11, 2015 I have around 20# of the Varget. Use it with light bullets in my 30-06, for a 22-250, light bullets in a 30-30 and it makes a suitable powder for 400+ grain cast bullets in my 444 Marlins. It's a great versatile powder. I know how frustrating it can be when you need a particular powder and there is none to be found. After all the time, work and $ invested in proper load development, it sucks to start all over with another powder because you can't find the right powder when you need it. Good score
firstcoueswas80 Report post Posted October 11, 2015 I only use it in my 243. It bugholes with 85 grainers.
