soazbinder Report post Posted October 8, 2015 Wanted to say hi. Long time lurker and I finally decided to join. I'm not a big poster, but I enjoy reading the threads and looking at all the Coues pictures. I have got the Coues bug and I recently started putting out a camera. Its like Christmas every time I go check it. I wanted to post a picture of this buck and see what you guys thought he would score. I've been polishing my archery/shooting skills in preparation that I actually see this deer in person some day. He is very elusive, and since May....I've only managed to get him on camera twice. The other picture is at night and he's pretty far away. I know he's not world record, but I think he would make me or my daughter (she's 12) a great first deer. Anyway, tell me what you think of him and i'm glad to be here. Thanks in advance....oh, and thanks Amanda for helping me with my password. I appreciate it. trufletch Report post Posted October 9, 2015 welcome to the site- good luck on the Coues- once bitten by the bug, hard to shake. For sure a shooter. Don't get wrapped around the axle on horn size,(always time for that later) big headgear are fun to chase and see, but there are many memorable hunts on smaller antlered deer.
