tornado heading to pinetop, showlow

Recommended Posts

Ooops it was a mistake. Not a tornado but Hillary and Trump having a debate! :D Seriously they had a tornado in Cimarron NM so it can happen in the mountains. I was lucky enough to be in a twister visiting my grandparents in KS and they are not fun.

Go in off the 146 road and you will see the line of trees still snapped in half. You can see exactly where it ran. I didn't believe it until I saw it.

Back in the mid 1990's, here in tucson, I remember a funnel cloud forming in the sky. It never touched down, but was interesting to watch. The Meteorologist on the news that night mentioned that Tornado's rarely form in mountainous areas, because of wind speed or something?? I guess they were wrong.

Growing up in Southern Minnesota I saw a couple of big Tornado's. Wizard of Oz type of twisters. It's pretty scary, to see that calm before the storm.
