FancyRedneck Report post Posted October 4, 2015 Hard to tell but is a 3x4 and wider than the picture shows. Saw him in velvet 2 weeks ago but is hard horned now . Was within 100 yds of him today.

longshooter Report post Posted October 4, 2015 I'd shoot him, especially if those main beams are palmated like they look from the pic. I care more for character than score.
rcdinaz Report post Posted October 4, 2015 Looks like a good deer to me! It really depends on if you know there are bigger deer in the area that you have seen recently. Can you keep an eye out for him while you look for others in the area? If he is in a high traffic area and you don't have option B I would be tickled to put together a plan and fill a tag with him it were me. Actually for me the putting a plan together and being successful is more gratifying than getting hung up on only wall hangers. Even better when you set it all up for a kid or buddy. FancyRedneck Report post Posted October 4, 2015 I am about character , he has enough of it and I think I have him figured out but I have had them pull disappearing acts before. I haven't seen much bigger in the area but the plan is to go deeper into the area and see what it holds. As far as seeing a plan come together it is awesome when it does. FancyRedneck Report post Posted October 4, 2015 If you don't someone else will. Pull that trigger, but stop the night hunting. Lol Only picture I have of him and the day pictures give the location away fairly easy.
