We actually saw an eagle chasing a couple deer this past January in Sonora. Unbelievable. I never thought an eagle could be that aggressive. He never touched any of the deer he was chasing, but we watched him dive-bomb Coues on this flat 2 days in a row. You know he's killed one before if he's doing that.

I have watched golden eagles dive bombing javelina before. I think they were trying to grab the young ones. They didn't get any, but it was neat to watch.
