Maverick351 Report post Posted September 26, 2015 While I was out a few days ago in my home unit I decided to check an area I have never really spent much time in. While walking through this area I start seeing all kinds of deer sign, rubs, scat, tracks and such and then I find an area just covered in corn kernels. I've already reported it but I am disappointed to still find it.
Maverick351 Report post Posted September 26, 2015 Just funny to see so many people still do it even though it is illegal. Seems like some still think it's OK to have an unfair advantage.
trphyhntr Report post Posted September 26, 2015 Why it's illegal to bait game like it's been done since the beginning of time, I'll never know.
CJohnson Report post Posted September 26, 2015 Why it's illegal to bait game like it's been done since the beginning of time, I'll never know. Because we don't hunt with stones and spears anymore, that's why.

Edge Report post Posted September 26, 2015 I'm guilty of tossing out kernels while out hunting, every time the Jiffypop disappoints. Which is every time.

trphyhntr Report post Posted September 26, 2015 phoning in kernels of corn, seriously?. the last time you created a thread it was someone carrying some jugs into the woods or something right OP?
Maverick351 Report post Posted September 26, 2015 It wasn't just a few kernels of corn. This was completely obvious and a lot of it. And yes I reported the guy carrying jugs of bait. Who I was later told was caught dumping with in 25yrds of his stand he had set. I'm sure he wasn't doing anything wrong and was ticketed for being innocent. If you condone baiting or breaking the law that's fine. I however have chosen not to. Best of luck to anyone not baiting.
AverageJoe Report post Posted September 26, 2015 I reported dumbA's that were camped too close to a water hole and Game warden actually came out which was shocking. I would report the same thing good job Maverick.
AverageJoe Report post Posted September 26, 2015 It is up to hunters to police our own. Just like any organization it works much better when you police your own. This causes hate from the law breakers but it doesnt matter. We must look out for one another even if it causes grief from some.
Str8Shot Report post Posted September 26, 2015 What is the saying ? Those who usually get the most defensive are most often the most guilty.... Yeah ! tends to be accurate. We all know there are plenty of Master Baiters still dumping in the woods despite the law and I see no issue policing law breakers .. Stick to salt and your safe
