STS45 Report post Posted September 25, 2015 Selling my custom pre-64 Model 70 in 30-06. Deadly accurate, light, and carries great. I can't really do recoil anymore after shoulder surgery so sticking with smaller calibers. Excellent shape. Pre'64 Featherweight action (trued, lapped, re-cut) Lilja #2 30cal Stainless barrel @ 23" 30/06 Williams 1pc bottom metal Bansner High-Tech stock @ 13.65" LOP - texture paint and red Decelerator Barrel smithing done by Jim Kobe Rifle has been glass bedded, beautiful trigger job set to 3 pounds, modified the bolt handle to accommodate talley LW X-tra lows (and did a great job, can't even tell it is changed). Round count is about 50. Barrel properly broken in, fire one clean one etc. Loves 155 grain Scenars, very accurate with with many types of factory ammo, well under a inch for three shots. Excellent rifle built by a great smith. $1475 shipped to FFL (from non)

STS45 Report post Posted September 26, 2015 Yes. Original factory Pre-64 trigger - which many consider the best hunting trigger around. Getting lots of PM's with questions.
