Bowmadness Report post Posted September 22, 2015 My buddy has his first muzzleloader tag for unit 33 November. This is also his first time in unit 33. His other help Backed out and now he is asking me for help. I know nothing about this unit at all. I know there is going to be a lot of negative feedback. I know glass glass glass glass and glass more. I have no time help scout because of my October hunt. Can someone please help and give me some tips for this unit. Maybe where to start. If you do not feel comfortable putting it out there you can always pm me. Thanks in advance.
PRDATR Report post Posted September 22, 2015 Access isn't too much of an issue and he can get a BLM map that will also show private property. Pepper Sauce south of Oracle is a good place to start. It's a big unit but I would concentrate my efforts in elevations from 4000 to 6000 feet. https://azgfdportal.az.gov/hunting/units/tucson/33

AZLance Report post Posted September 25, 2015 There is deer everywhere in the unit, you shouldn't have a problem.

Lots of deer, and like you said yourself: glass! Good luck!
Titanium700 Report post Posted September 26, 2015 Yeah. I'd stick on the north side for sure but have seen many monsters on the south side, but that's usually December/January. If you want a coues go up high, a Muley go down low.
