Green Bullet Report post Posted September 22, 2015 When you buy a new barrel from Brux does it come chambered and ready to screw into an action or do you need to take it to a gunsmith for chambering?

.270 Report post Posted September 22, 2015 there's a lot to putting a barrel on. generaly the chamber is reamed after the barrel is installed, and there is a sequence that you have to go through with go-no go gauges to get the chamber depth correct. willhunt4coues Report post Posted September 22, 2015 Depending on the action itself. Barrels for a Savage do come chambered and threaded.
