Desertdweller62 Report post Posted September 25, 2015 The Outdoorsman's tripods are great... if they fit into your budget. I have had good luck with SLIK tripods for years. The 444 Sport was my favorite... but it is not available anymore. I used it on a pair of Docter 30x's. It was rock solid. The SLIK 330 DX with a Jim White head is what I am using now. Lightweight and very stable. DesertDweller62

Great post on your set up and it's versatility. Which Manfrotto model is this? Been looking at various ones online. Using a Slik now and considering an upgrade. Thx. Phil Beavers Report post Posted October 8, 2015 What's your price range? What power bino's are you using? For $105 you can get a Slik pro 330ez on amazon which is a great setup for the price. If money is not an option then an outdoorsman is a great tripod I just bought the Slik pro yesterday.. Super light and very affordable. I use it for my 10 x 42 binos. My binos are 500 dollars so I didnt want to spend too much on a tripod set up
